Created the technical design and implemented a virtual classroom for training in clinical applications, initially at Fiona Stanley Hospital. Works undertaken included:
• Install/reinstall of VMware ESXi 5.5 on HP servers
• Installation of VMware vCenter 5.5
• Design of “golden image” used for the training virtual desktops
• Undertaking performance and failover testing of the environment prior to training sessions
• Ongoing support and monitoring to ensure environment is stable
• Ongoing improvements based on user feedback
